Derrick is an experienced property investor and developer with over 9 years of experience in the property and finance industry. He has educated over 3000 of Australia’s leading property investors and is frequently speaking at conferences or featuring in webinars to share his insights and industry secrets. Beginning his career as an Engineering Consultant and later moving into Project Management, he brings a unique problem - solving approach to providing tailored finance solutions for his clients. Every scenario is approached with a solutions-first mindset and a commitment to doing what’s best for his clients over what’s easy. In his spare time, he keeps active by participating in cycling events, practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and tending to his 50kg Alaskan Malamute.

Liz is dedicated to supporting her clients in building their portfolio by securing the highest quality investment properties on the market. An avid investor herself, her ability to identify and purchase high performing property stems from her background as a trained scientist. She has a Bachelor of Science (majoring in Genetics) as well as a Master’s Degree in Biotechnology from the University of Melbourne. Drawing upon years of experience in the MedTech industry, she brings a data driven approach to property buying. Her uniquely meticulous process for property investment enables her to achieve outstanding results for her clients.

She oversees the day-to-day operations of the business, leading strategy, marketing, HR, systems and continuous improvement to ensure both clients and the FINR team receive an exceptional experience. With a background spanning major banks, mortgage broking and business ownership, Mari is passionate about building high-performing teams, streamlining processes and driving sustainable growth while helping make the property journey as seamless as possible.

Nic brings over 13 years of experience across property management, business development, and account management in the real estate industry, with a sharp focus on relationships, negotiation, and client outcomes. Having purchased his first investment property at just 22, he understands the property journey not only as a professional, but as an investor, landlord, and renter himself. Most recently, Nic managed a portfolio of 90+ real estate agencies across Victoria, sharpening his eye for market dynamics and building an extensive network of agents - one he now leverages to negotiate strong outcomes and access off-market opportunities for FINR clients. . Combined with his commercial acumen and genuine commitment to buyer advocacy, Nic consistently delivers results that empower clients to buy with confidence.

Paul specialises in complex lending and structuring, with a particular knack for finding solutions where others hit a wall. With over nine years across banking, finance, and financial advice spanning both Ireland and Australia, he brings a creative approach to deals that don't always fit neatly into a bank's criteria. A core part of Paul's business is rooming house finance, an area he has developed a genuine niche in and one that demands exactly the kind of creative, lateral thinking he's become known for. Before moving into broking, a stint in Australian recruitment gave him a sharp instinct for people, which as it turns out, is half the job. Outside of work, Paul is a committed Collingwood supporter, an enthusiastic home cook, and true to his Kildare roots, enjoys a Guinness with absolutely zero guilt about it.

Driven by his passion for property, Simon has also earned accreditation from Property Investment Professionals of Australia (PIPA) as a Qualified Property Investment Advisor. In his role, Simon specialises in mortgage financing and property investment advisory, helping clients navigate complex lending structures and provide strategic guidance to help clients build and scale their property portfolios. Simon is known for his dynamic energy, deep market knowledge, and client-first approach.
